  • Designed and implemented telehealth integration using the Healthie API, enabling seamless virtual visits.
  • Built and launched an automated SMS and email communication feature using OpenPhone and Resend, improving engagement and reducing drop-off in the customer acquisition funnel.
  • Conducted A/B testing and implemented UX improvements that increased user retention across the onboarding flow, leveraging behavioral analytics using PostHog feature flags.

Software Engineer

Genentech | May 2022 - Feb 2025

  • Led backend development for a web application using Next.js, React, HTML/CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript that assists potency assay development. The application streamlines data integration, analysis, and provides experimental data modeling for scientists and engineers.
  • Built and deployed a full-stack sample testing platform using Next.js, Django, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL. Features Delivered: multi-assay management, sample validation, test scheduling, notifications, and data exports. Containerized with Docker, monitored via Sentry, and set up CI/CD with GitHub Actions on AWS and GCP.
  • Led a team of 3 engineers in designing, implementing, and deploying microservices that integrated internal systems with our ELN platform. This centralization enhanced project tracking, collaboration, and data sharing capabilities for scientists and engineers. Microservices built using Python, REST API, GitHub Actions, GCP, and AWS.
  • Collaborated closely with business stakeholders throughout all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to gather requirements, design, and develop software systems that aligns with business objectives.

  • Engineered an intelligent monitoring system using Python and OpenCV that detects instrument errors and automatically notifies users through Webhooks to gChat.
  • Led and managed an ELN user support group of 15+ members, providing technical assistance to over 150 users.
